Northern Colorado Conference on Sustainability on

Building Competitive Advantage through Environmentally-Friendly Practices

Date: April 6, 2009

Location: University Center Ballrooms, University Northern Colorado campus, Greeley, Colorado

Goals:

  1. (1)narrow sustainability issues down to the level of small to midsized business owners of Northern Colorado;

  2. (2)provide an awareness of sustainability opportunities, and that sustainability is not just good for the environment, but is good for business;

  3. (3)provide awareness of public projects and incentives, public/private partnerships, and local professionals who can add value to their businesses and sustainable business options and opportunities;

  4. (4)develop a collaborative relationship and environment among Northern Colorado businesses, the Monfort College of Business, and the Monfort Institute.
