EKS&H, the largest Colorado-based accounting and business advisory firm, is giving the University of Northern Colorado’s Monfort College of Business $100,000 over the next 10 years.
“We want to recognize and support the College’s accounting program and faculty for their commitment to educating and guiding students from their college career to their professional career in accounting,” said Robert B. Hottman, chief executive officer of EKS&H, with offices in Denver, Fort Collins, and Boulder, serving the Rocky Mountain region.
The donation will go to scholarships ($3,000 per year), the College’s School of Accounting ($2,000 per year) and sponsorship of a classroom in Kepner Hall, home of the Monfort College of Business ($7,500 per year).
“We are proud to recognize the investment EKS&H has made in our students and accounting program,” said Tim Jares, interim dean of the College. “Their contribution toward sponsoring a classroom in Kepner Hall will benefit the entire Monfort College of Business student body.”
