WESTERN UNION EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK AT BUSINESS PLUS LUNCHEON

Western Union Chief Financial Officer and University of Northern Colorado College of Business alumnus Scott Scheirman will be speaking at a Business Plus luncheon in Greeley on March 6.  He will be sharing key insights and business strategies that helped Western Union expand rapidly around the globe.  He will also share his views on the current economic climate.
Scheirman is a Greeley native who graduated from UNC in 1985 with a degree in Accounting.  He has been instrumental in Western Union’s expansion into more than 200 countries and 365,000 locations around the globe.  In addition to discussing company expansion, he will also recall his four years at UNC and how the value of his education helped guide his successful career at Western Union (a Colorado headquartered Fortune 500 company).
