ATTORNEY GENERAL JOHN SUTHERS TO ADDRESS ETHICS AT ACCOUNTING EVENT

Greeley, Colo. - Colorado Attorney General John Suthers will give the keynote address during an event devoted to business ethics on April 8 at the University of Northern Colorado’s Monfort College of Business.

Suthers' presentation, "Ethics: It's What You Do When No One's Watching," at 1:25 p.m. in Milne Auditorium of Kepner Hall will cap a day of sessions led by faculty and corporate experts as part of Accounting’s second annual Fraud and Ethics Day for students.

Sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. in Milne Auditorium and include topics about fraud detection and forensic accounting, responding to stress and ethics in Certified Public Accounting. The complete schedule is posted at http://www.mcb.unco.edu/Events/EventFocus.cfm?ID=21.

The sessions are open to the public free of charge and are sponsored by the Professional Accounting Association and Beta Alpha Psi, an honorary association for Financial Information students and professionals.
