The Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge

The Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge.


Lots of people are talking about the importance of stimulating business growth in Northern Colorado, but the Monfort College of Business is actually doing something about it.

It?s the Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge?an exciting one-day event and competition designed to help those with an entrepreneurial spirit?and those who support innovative thinking and business growth? to take it to the next level.

Do you have a dream of taking your Northern Colorado-based company to the next level? Do you have a great idea for a new business, but just need a little seed money? Enter the MCB Entrepreneurial Challenge:

  • Two categories of competition?start up ventures and existing businesses, wishing to take their company to the next level.
  • Three award winners in each category: $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second and $1,000 for third? a total of $18,000 in prize money.
  • Submit your (http://mcb.unco.edu/programs/e-challenge/feasibility.cfm) application fee before January 15, 2010.
  • Finalists will be announced on February 5, 2010.
  • Competition, workshops and luncheon are March 25, 2010 at the University of Northern Colorado.

Innovation After Hours - Greeley Clean Energy Park




Greeley Renewable Energy Park

Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative is pleased to announce this first-ever Innovation After Hours event held in the City of Greeley. The intent is to help accelerate networking and collaboration opportunities that span the northern Colorado region. Join us as Bruce Biggi (Greeley Economic Development Manager) and JustinBzdek (Symbios Technologies) present their findings in determining the merit of converting "Waste to Energy" in a Greeley Clean Energy Park. This event will be held at the Kress Cinema in Downtown Greeley.

Student Public Relations Network Meeting


The Student Public Relations Network is meeting Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 6 P.M. in New North Hall's conference room. Guest speaker will be Principal Communications Strategist Bill Green from Sagen Media. His expertise runs the gamut from simple corporate communications to advanced Software-as-a-service (SaaS) platfroms and commmunity-based social networks. Refreshments will be served.
