The Entrepreneurship Program

An entrepreneurial educational experience in an applied environment

Vision

We envision a program where students can explore their interests in small business and entrepreneurship, expand their career opportunities and create new skills for success in small and large organizations.

Mission

The mission of the Entrepreneurship Program "is to provide an entrepreneurial educational experience that prepares the student for a career in small business and the development of ethical business practices in an applied environment".

In our small classroom environments our students have the opportunity to interact with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and business professionals in the region. Students experience hands-on community projects that directly affect our local economic base, and acquaint them with the problems commonly encountered when starting, growing, and harvesting business ventures. Emphasis is on the entrepreneurial career and perspective, not on one-shot ventures.
