How to Get the Most Out of this Site
This site is here to support you if:
- You’re facing a tough choice and aren’t sure how it can be resolved
- You want to connect with other students who have faced similar choices
- You want anonymous feedback on choices you’ve already made
- You want to explore your ethical values in an anonymous environment
- You think ethics is an interesting topic and you want to learn more
How can a website help you do this?
- The CED provides you with concise information on a wide variety of ethical perspectives and a detailed deliberation process for sorting out your ethical options. View a brief introduction to our guided deliberation process.
- It also gives you access to ethics coaches who can answer specific questions and provide you with tips so that you can feel more confident about the tough choices you make. Please note that we are currently unable to offer coaching services. For more information, contact nancy.matchett@unco.edu
NOTE: Because all of your interactions are completely anonymous, you can feel free to ask those questions you’ve always wanted to ask but may be uncomfortable talking about face to face. You can also visit the site whenever it’s most convenient for you, and spend as much (or as little) time using it as you want.

Aristotle pointed out over 3000 years ago that becoming ethical is a lot like learning to hit a target. This game introduces you to important components of ethical deliberation that are found within this site.
