Dr. Alexander previously served as dean of the Monfort College of Business from September 2001 to June 2007, and led the College to receipt of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2004.  He began serving on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2005 and is currently chair-elect.  Under Alexander’s leadership, the Monfort College of Business developed an international reputation for excellence in undergraduate business education, which helped pave the way for creation of the Monfort Institute in early 2006.  A Fulbright Scholar, Joe also serves on the board of directors for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
