Dr. Jha worked as a Program Director for multi-stakeholder programs and international developmental projects with Colorado State University and also actively engage with the Executive education program with Monfort Institute as an affiliate faculty. Since receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Delhi in the Biotechnology area, Dr. Jha has worked extensively on technology transfer  and consulting for  enterprise  in several countries, including Canada, Israel, Holland, Afghanistan and Nepal as well as the U.S.  Recently he was instrumental for bringing multi-million dollar USAID grant for International Technology Transfer activities that involves several Universities Consortium partners both in the U.S. and overseas.

He has taught in both university and executive education settings and has published in a variety of academic and professional outlets. He belongs to numerous organizations including professional management organization and developmental institute at the global level.

While completing his MBA at Colorado State University, Ajay assisted with student projects in “designing a cook stove which produces light and also reduces smoke emission” for the developing world which finally started as a business enterprise in many countries.  Dr. Jha was also mentored for the several global social sustainable enterprise team competition both in Colorado State University and also for University of Washington at Seattle and some of the spinoff company is making it to their way to global market place. His work in the Colorado region has involved projects related to rural urban water transfer and sustainable agriculture and also related to alternative energy.
